Check out these four cold weather outfits with leather leggings

#1. Try your leather leggings with a graphic tee and shacket

Leather leggings can easily be dressed down with an oversized graphic tee and a cute shacket (a shacket is a mix between a jacket and a shirt). Typically I don’t love shackets, but I actually love this cute one from Nordstrom – it’s super cozy and the plaid print is neutral but fun.

When I’m wearing leggings for everyday, I often want my backside to be covered, so wearing a longer jacket like this is perfect for a little more coverage. You could also swap for a cardigan sweater!

#2. Leather leggings can be dressed up with a blouse, blazer, and heels

You can totally dress up leather leggings without looking like an, ahem, lady of the night. Just choose a chic blouse, slightly longer blazer, and some classic pumps. Just skip the strappy 5″ stilettos — with leather leggings, that gets a little too edgy too fast.

#3. A jacket and hoodie make a great leather leggings outfit

This is an easy outfit! A hoodie is my go-to for casual outfits, but a jacket (or you could do a blazer) over the top makes it chic and elevated in a way that’s really fantastic.

Try a pair of sneakers, flats, or boots with this outfit and you’ve got yourself a killer leather leggings outfit.

#4. Try your leather leggings with a long tunic top

If you want a super simple outfit AND booty coverage, then a tunic is the best choice. This one from Spanx is my all time favorite — it’s so soft and squishy and amazing material…it’s impossible to even describe without feeling it!

You can, of course, layer a coat on top of this outfit for extra warmth…I’d choose a longer dress coat. And of course I chose my favorite Chelsea boots for a chic, comfortable shoe choice.
