As a little preview to my holiday gift guides, I thought I’d list my favorite things and favorite gifts. If you need a quick go-to gift idea, check out this list!
I love putting together my holiday gift guides and they have a ton of great ideas for anyone on your list. But, I thought it would be fun to put together a list of my very favorite things that I (or my family) already use, so you can see a quick list of gift ideas.

Quince Bag. I bought this bag for myself in January or February this year and it immediately became one of my favorite things! There are two sizes and I have them both. The SMALLER is the best for travel and sightseeing because it’s not too big, can be worn as a crossbody, and fits everything. The BIGGER one is fabulous as a shoulder bag. Both come with two straps – longer for crossbody and shorter for shoulder strap. This is a bag she’ll use and love for years!!

Quince cashmere wrap. This is a great gift for your college student, your sister, your mom, or your grandmother – it literally works for anyone! It’s big and cozy and luxurious, and perfect for travel as a blanket or scarf or wrap, over a nice dress as a wrap, as a scarf in the winter..it’s so versatile.
Anthropologie Collection Earrings. These are from my collection with Anthropologie that launched in early October and they are the most gorgeous earrings ever. The dark red jewel with surrounding crystals and a gold ring make them so unique and a statement without being huge. They’re my go-to earring now!
Touchland Hand Sanitizer. This stuff is so popular among the teens and tweens right now, and it’s actually amazing! It smells so good and is easy to take on the go. There’s also an off-brand version that’s a little more affordable!
Anthropologie Shoe Laces. These holiday shoe laces are so fun and unique! They make any sneaker cute and festive.
Old Navy Cable Knit Sweater. If you’re looking for something great on a budget, this cozy sweater is super inexpensive but feels luxe! It’s gorgeous and soft and comes in a few colors. I sized up for a slightly oversized look.
Quince Cardigan. This is another favorite sweater that’s still affordable at $50! The big chunky buttons make it special and interesting, and it comes in a few great colors. I wear a size small.
Zebra Pens. For the practical girlie, my favorite pens make a great gift. Pair with a journal!
Neck Cream. I’ve given this at Favorite Things parties twice and it’s always a hit! This stuff is like liquid gold on your neck and helps with crepey skin and neck lines within a few days!
Laneige Lip Mask. This is a great little gift that everyone will use and love. You could pair this with some other little favorites for a beauty bundle gift.
Miranda Frye Bracelets. These are my all time favorite bracelets! Their cuffs are so easy to put on and take off, they are comfortable to wear all day, and they look like designer bracelets without the super high price. I’ve worn mine almost everyday for over a year and have no plans to stop anytime soon!
Red Light Mask. I had this on my Christmas wishlist last year, and while it’s a splurge, it’s a great item to give a daughter or daughter in law or go in with your sister for your mom. It’s a red light mask that helps with fine lines, discoloration, and aging.
Lola Blanket. These are THE COZIEST blankets ever! They’d make amazing gifts for anyone.
Anthropologie silk scarf. I love these pretty little scarves and they’d be a great accessory to give as a gift. I wear mine in my hair, around my purse, and around my neck.
Eye gels. I cannot recommend these eye gels enough! They have hyaluronic acid and caffeine in them so they instantly brighten tired eyes. They also don’t slip around on your face like other eye gels – they stick and stay in place til you peel them off.
Coop Homegoods Pillow. This pillow changed my life! We now have like 10 of them in the house that we’ve accumulated over the years – we all sleep on them! They took away all my neck and back pain cause they’re supportive and cooling. They have several options for back and side sleepers so you can get what works for you.
Foot massager. I’ve been having some foot pain this year and bought this for myself, and it’s the best. I keep it under my desk to massage my feet while I work, and my kids always steal it for massages when we’re hanging out on the couch. My father in law loves using it too when he visits! I have given this as a gift before and it’s a great gift for parents or in-laws or friends.
Bow brooch. Brooches are so popular this year and I think this one is really fun and affordable! It would make a great gift, and there are so many good options here if you want to grab something besides the bow shape.
Initial Necklace from Chic Mama Jewelry. This is a perfect gift for a new mom or a sister or friend. You can have as many initials put on as you’d like, and they’re gorgeous quality. I have my boy’s initials on mine, and I have the mirrored letters with the paperclip chain. I put mine on about a year and a half ago, and haven’t taken it off since. I swim in it, sleep in it, shower in it, and it hasn’t tarnished or changed at all. Code MERRICK works for 20% off!
Chelsea boots. These are honestly my all time favorite shoe. I live in these during the winter. If you have a sister or mom or friend that needs a good pair of boots for Christmas, these are them. They’re true to size and a little stiff at first, but they soften after a few wears and then they’re SO comfy. Volo Hair Towel. I got this towel last year and have been obsessed with it ever since! It’s the most gentle towel for all hair types, and also makes my hair dry SO much faster than ever before. I have a ton of hair and this is a game changer!
Modern Manners book. This makes a fantastic gift for any family! There are three versions – Modern Manners for Teens Volume 1, Modern Manners for Teens Volume 2, and Modern Manners for Kids. I have all three, and honestly all of them are incredible. They’re great manners that are perfect for any age. But I think the one for kids is the best of the three because it gives role play scenarios you can do with your kids, and also asks “WHY?” on each page to get your kids to understand why these manners are meaningful. Highly, highly recommend.
Andar Wallet. I asked my husband for a new wallet for Christmas and he got me this one from Andar. It’s a wallet, wristlet, and keychain combo, so I can hook my keys to it, and then also hook around my wrist to carry it around easily. I’m a purse carrier always, but this is extremely convenient to grab my wallet and keys together and be able to run out the door to drop the kids at school or run into the store without carrying a full purse. It also has plenty of space to carry my cards and cash, and comes in a ton of colors. I have the cognac tan color.
Bombas running socks. These socks are on my top all-time favorite purchases, and if you have a runner in the family, they’re an absolute must have gift for them. They’re available for men and women, and they’re pricey, so they make a great gift. They’re super stretchy and soft, and lightweight enough to not make your feet so sweaty. They’re also supportive around the middle, and have high tabs on the front and back to keep your shoe from rubbing on the tongue or the heel.
BetterDays Supplements. My friend Lisa started this company and it has tons of amazing supplements, from everyday greens to hydration to hormone help. The BetterHormones has been a game changer for me. My cycles are much less painful, and consistently 2-3 days shorter than ever before. Ninja Creami Machine. I got this machine back in December, but this month we have been using it almost daily. It is an amazing machine that makes all kinds of frozen desserts, but we use it most often to make protein soft serve ice cream. It’s INCREDIBLE. I just add milk and protein powder together, freeze overnight, and then mix in the machine to make perfect soft serve ice cream. We always have a few in our freezer ready to mix up. I have directions right here. My recent favorite recipe is 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, one cup of fairlife whole milk, and then freeze that. Once it’s frozen, sprinkle 1/2 a packet of sugar free raspberry jell-o on top and mix in the Creami machine on the “light ice cream” setting. It’ll be powdery after mixing, so add a few tablespoons of milk, scrape the sides, and re-mix. Once it’s the consistency you like, add fresh raspberries and do the “mix-in” setting on the machine to get them fully incorporated. Top with more raspberries if you’d like and some crushed graham cracker pieces. YUM.
Triple Wireless Charger. This wireless charger is a complete game changer! It charges a phone, apple watch, and headphones all without any wires, and it folds up so small so it’s easy to transport. This is such a good gift for a parent or in-law or sibling that travels a lot and uses all three of these devices.
Hanging Makeup Bag. This is a really awesome makeup bag I bought I few years ago and finally had to replace this month after using it to death. It holds everything, and has a built in hanger so you can hang from the hotel bathroom towel hook for easy access during your travels. I had the medium before, but upgraded to the large when I just re-purchased, and I’m super happy with the Large size. It holds everything with room to spare, but still zips up into a small bag.
Clear Purse Hanger. I just re-did our front closet and turned it into a purse closet. It holds all my bags, and I got these clear purse hangers to hang my larger bags for really easy storage and access. They’re a game changer! They’re very heavy duty and hold even the heavy, big bags with no problems. Highly recommend if you want to hang your bags off the floor!
L.Erickson hair ties. I went on the hunt a few years ago for new hair ties that would keep my very long hair in place while I ran. The drugstore ones I was using for years just were not cutting it and my ponytails were constantly falling out mid-run. I found THESE ONES and they’ve been my go-to ever since. They come in lots of colors, and they come in a big pack for only $12. They’d also make great, cheap stocking stuffers if you have several girls and you want to buy one pack and split them up.
Merit Makeup Brush No. 1. I have been using this makeup brush for almost two years and it’s my all time favorite brush. It blends so beautifully and doesn’t soak up all your makeup. Just make sure you don’t use it on super liquid makeup (it works best on creams) or the brushes get too wet and you have to wash between each use. I use with my Merit Minimalist Makeup everyday and it’s so soft and blends so beautifully!
Raycon earbuds. I know everyone raves about AirPods, but honestly these are the best earbuds. The sound quality is fantastic, they’re super comfortable, they have all the controls of awareness mode, pausing and playing, skipping tracks, etc, and they are great for phone calls as well. I wear mine for hours a day listening to audiobooks, white noise, or taking calls, and they also have a super long battery life on the earbuds AND the charging case.
Dime beauty tinted wonder screen. I have never used a sunscreen that I love as much as this one. It gives you just enough coverage and color, it doesn’t smell like sunscreen, and it has great protection. My code MERRICK works for 20% off!
Christmas Plates. I’m such a dish lover, and these Anthropologie ones are different each year and are so gorgeous. If you have a friend or mom or sister who loves dishes too, these would make such a great gift!
Pura Diffuser. I got one of these for my mom for her birthday last year, and finally bought myself one for our new house and I love, love, love it They make a great gift for the person who has everything.
Loopy case. I’ve used Loopy Cases for my phone for the last 9 years and they are truly the best. The loop is super comfy and can be swapped out for different colors, and also adjusted to fit one or two or three fingers, or whatever you prefer. They are available for all phone sizes and types, and come in tons of fun colors and prints. These would make a great gift for a friend or sister or brother or boyfriend.
Anthropologie Colette Cropped Wide Leg Pants. I love these pants so much and live in them basically year round, even in the winter (check out these ideas). Audible Subscription. If you have an audiobook loving friend or sister, this is a great gift! Just give them 1-3 months so they can listen to whatever they’d like. I use my audible subscription all the time and love it so much.
Miranda Frye Hoop Earrings. These chunky gold hoop earrings have quickly become some of my all time favorites! They’re a fun statement that will go with everything.
Microstitch Tool. This is one of my all time favorite ingenious products. It’s a little temporary plastic stitch that you can use to close a too-low neckline, keep bra-straps in place, or whatever little fashion needs you have. It’s a must have and makes a great little gift!
Cakes covers. This was one of my most used products during the summer! They’re little silicone pads that you can use in place of a bra, or to wear underneath your swimsuit. I’ve tried another kind that was sticky and it practically ripped my nipples off when I took them off at the end of the day, so I was thrilled to see that these adhere to your skin with your body heat. They stay on all day, but peel right off without any stickiness. I’ve been using them in place of those stupid removable pads in swimsuits, and they even passed the waterslide test…they didn’t move at all! I think my code is MERRICK for a discount.
Pillow Talk Lip Kit. I have searched high and low for years to find the perfect neutral lipstick, and THIS IS IT. It’s so fantastic and looks good on everyone. I love the liner and the lipstick combo. This is only $25 for the two, so it makes an affordable gift!
MyKitsch Satin Pillowcase. I’ve been using a cheap Amazon silk pillowcase for the last few years, but finally switched to Kitsch and I’ve been LOVING it. It’s way better quality, and looks nicer, and affordable. It’s cooling when you sleep on it, it helps with wrinkles and acne, and it is machine washable. I’m obsessed. If you’ve been thinking of switching from a regular pillowcase, DO IT.
