A great drawing skill is to be able to get a likeness of the person you’re drawing. An even better drawing skill is to be able to get this likeness fairly quickly.

I’m working on that. I’m all about slow drawing because I can just stare at the face for a long time before making any marks, but being forced to make quicker decisions is good. We’re supposed to do as good of a drawing as last time in two weeks rather than five weeks.
